È The FARDC launched yesterday, Thursday, the ÒSokola 2Ó military operations for the disarmament of the Rwandan rebels of the FDLR. The announcement was made in Beni-Ville by the FARDC Chief of Army Staff during a joint press conference with the MONUSCO Force Commander. Martin Kobler, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in the DRC, stated: ÒI welcome the announcement of the launch of military operations against the FDLR by the Congolese Government.
