100760 Avro CF-100 Canuck Mk. 5/P&WC JT15 engine flying testbed - Aviation royale canadienne-Royal Canadian Air Force, on loan to Pratt & Whitney Canada - Saint-Hubert, QC - This photo shows Doug Jermyn (age 26) and a side view of the JT15D nacelle. The odd shaped pattern at the front of the nacelle is one of the two debris doors that were closed over the JT15D intake during the take off roll - they prevented F.O.D. being thrown up by the CF-100 nose wheel during take off.
